I like the display case but the weight of the 60 watches prevents me from closing it tight and I'm concerned that one or more of the shelves with watches on it will fall, causing it to create a chain reaction when it falls on the shelves below. I removed some of the heavier watches but I would like to be able to put any watch in the display case without worrying about any shelves falling. Basically, it seems like the weight of the 60 original watches that I put in the display case causes the case to "buckle" and the shelves are not being fully supported. I may need to purchase some small "L" shaped brackets and screw them between the underside of the shelves and the exterior vertical section as I want to keep it and not have to be concerned about a possible collapse. If there's an easier way to keep the display case from "buckling", I would definitely be interested as the case doesn't seem designed to hold the weight of 60 men's watches. Not all of my watches are heavy but ideally I shouldn't have to worry about this issue. I'm not crazy about screwing brackets into the display case but I can't think of any other way other than only putting lighter watches into the case. So my review is that it's a good product but not strong enough to support 60 watches where some are on the heavy side. I tried to put as many heavy watches on the lower levels but the sides of the case still "bow out" and the shelves are not fully supported. I have a large collection of watches so I want to display the full 60 that the post advertised. I believe that it would hold 60 pieces of jewelry or women's watches without a problem. One other issue is that it's not quite tall enough to reach in and remove a watch from the back rows so I need to pull out the shelf to remove any watches that I want to wear. It also prevents anyone from seeing all the watches other than the ones toward the front. I would recommend the manufacturer provide a solution at least for the buckling issue. I believe that I will be able to add support brackets but I want to do it in a way that doesn't affect the aesthetics of the case and watches. I will be contacting the supplier to see if they have encountered this issue before as I like the display case and want to display the maximum number of watches without having to add brackets which would need to be drilled into the sides as I don't think using super glue is a good solution. I still would recommend the display case but the post should make mention that it may need additional support and include the supports with the case. Another option that would help would be to make the supports that come with the case wider so that if the case buckles, the shelves would still be fully supported. I would even buy another of the cases but add the extra support brackets before adding men's watches which can be rather large and heavy depending on the watch.
